World Record attempt for a worthy cause

iamFIT Training are pushing the limits in WA.

Here at Ericom, we’re always on the lookout for opportunities to give back to our community and make a positive impact. When Shayne Maddern, our Business Relationship Specialist Team Leader, approached us with an incredible chance to support iamFIT Training’s “Challenge Yourself” world record attempt, we knew we had to be a part of this fantastic cause.

The heartwarming mission behind iamFIT Training’s initiative is to raise funds for Western Australia’s most vulnerable kids and their families. The challenges these children face on a daily basis are beyond imagination, and it’s our collective responsibility to contribute towards ensuring a better life for them. In collaboration with Telethon 7, the 2023 fundraising event will support 107 children’s charities and beneficiaries reaching over 112,000 children and 68,000 families delivering life-changing programs, obtaining essential equipment, and funding critical medical research for childhood diseases.

Supporting the well-being of today’s children and generations to come resonates deeply with us. Our small gestures of kindness and generosity can create ripples of positive change in the lives of those who need it most.

One of the most exciting aspects of iamFIT Training’s campaign is their determination to set a world record while making a difference. They are aiming to accomplish the “Farthest Distance pushing a gym sled in 24 hours (relay – 100kg sled)” challenge. As a gym that values pushing limits and striving for excellence, we are thrilled to rally behind them and provide our unwavering support.

Our contribution of $1,000 may not involve physical muscle, but it is a heartfelt investment in the future of these deserving children. By joining hands with iamFIT Training and their ambitious $10,000 fundraising target, we are taking a step towards better treatments and potential cures for the countless challenges faced by these children.

It’s always great to remind ourselves that even the smallest gestures can create the biggest differences. We are so thrilled to help iamFIT Training reach their fundraising goal and set a world record, all while changing lives in the process.
